Browser-based / local token patching
Muse Gadgets
web flasher.
Choose your board, add your own SDK token and connect over USB. This Beta starts with StickS3 and ESP32-C5 DevKitC-1.
Your device ships without an SDK token. Paste your own token at /setup — it never leaves your browser. Firmware is built from the upstream SDK and passes image checks, but has not yet been tested on physical hardware — flash at your own risk.

Use a USB data cable. The installer requests a serial port only when you press the button below. Keep the device connected throughout flashing.
Checking firmware availability…
This browser does not support Web Serial. Open this page in desktop Chrome or Edge over HTTPS, then connect your board with a USB data cable.
Built for the Muse Gadget SDK, licensed under Apache-2.0. Firmware built with ESP-IDF v6.0.1 from upstream commit 693cde9. Serial flashing writes an unsigned patched image; boot and OTA behaviour have not yet been confirmed on physical hardware. An ESP32 can always be re-flashed over USB.
A build, not a promise
Firmware downloads and physical validation are pending. The installer will not write an unavailable build. Signing support is reserved for the S0 report; no signing claim is made here.
The browser downloads firmware before inserting your token locally. The token is never submitted to our server, saved in browser storage or sent to analytics. The connected device will use it to connect to Muse after setup.
Built around the open-source Muse Gadget SDK, licensed under Apache-2.0. Muse account access and your own SDK token are required. Read the SDK terms before use.
